The United Way Tocqueville Society is comprised of extraordinary philanthropists who give $10,000 or more annually to United Way, creating a profound and lasting impact on our community and on the lives of all those who live and work here. We are so grateful for the incredible generosity and leadership of our Tocqueville donors.

The Tocqueville Society is a group of leaders in our community taking on the vital role of advancing the United Way mission to improve lives. By contributing $10,000 or more to United Way, these generous philanthropists become champions for our community. If you have not already done so, we invite you to join this extraordinary group. For donors interested in becoming Tocqueville Society members but looking to build up their donation over time, the United Way offers the Toqueville Society Step-Up. The Step-Up Program offers junior Tocqueville membership to donors who commit to reach the $10,000 level within four years. These donors have the opportunity to become fully acknowledged members of the Tocqueville Society (from day one) by committing to a contribution plan.

This year we are pleased to announce the National City Half Million Dollar Challenge Grant which will match dollar-for-dollar all new and increased (to the next giving level) gifts of $1,000 or more.
