A group of employees from JC Penney took part in the United Way’s Day of Caring program and volunteered today at Aunt Martha’s Youth Service Center. Sporting bright United Way t-shirts, the volunteers tackled several crowded storage areas in an effort to turn them into usable space for the center’s expanding programs. Volunteers helped create several new offices and counseling spaces. Continuing United Way’s mission of fostering partnership between Partner Agencies, staff and volunteers connected Aunt Martha’s unused furniture with agencies who can put it back into service.Pictures coming soon!
